Failsafe Pear Jelly

½ cup sugar dissolved in ½ cup warm water
300 ml cold pear syrup (left over from tinned pears, or you could use pear 'juice' made in the thermomix with peeled pears/tinned pears and water)
3-4 tsp gelatine dissolved in ½ cup boiling water (boil for longer if sensitive to sulphites)

Combine ingredients in order. Refrigerate until set

I make this up for my son to take to school.
